Project Visionaries - MMORPG
A downloadable project visionaries
Project Visionaries is an isometric MMO-RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world around the year 2080.
Building upon core mechanics of classic Action RPGs and MMO RPGs of the late 90's and early 2000's, Project Visionaries plans to introduce a number of original features:
- a continuously changing world where towns are permanent but battlegrounds are procedurally generated
- a variety of interactions with the environment (destructible walls, tile mining, resource harvesting, painting) akin to the experience of sandbox games
- an out-of-combat skill tree facilitating in-game income generation in a way that suits the player's own playstyle (trading, mining, pvp, farming, exploring, etc)
From a graphic standpoint, Project Visionaries is a 2D sprite based game built pretty much from scratch with libgdx. As part of this project, we hope to revive the classic isometric feel of the late 90's introduced by games like Diablo, with original, HD assets as well as QoL features commonly found in modern games.
We' try to publish regular development updates since inception on itch.
